How To Get Motivated And Change In An Instant
Are you finally ready to learn the secrets to how to get motivated and transform your life and your body once and for all?
Losing weight is NOT nearly as difficult as you've been led to believe. The weight loss industry has become huge and hugely rich ripping you off with every imaginable pill, shake, bar, and exercise gimmick. Most of you have been led so far astray and become completely disillusioned. I understand that. And, the one thing you simply MUST understand is that there is no quick fix. Let me say it again louder, "THERE IS NO QUICK FIX!" Let that notion go right now and you will already be ahead of the game. There's no magic out there.
How to get motivated starts with asking yourself three questions:
Are You Ready For Change?
Yes, of course, we all want to be thin and sexy, but are you truly willing to do what is necessary to accomplish this? Most people want to improve, but only if it requires no sacrifice or discomfort. That's unreasonable. Do you think of weight loss in terms of "dieting"? This will lead to nothing but despair and defeat.
You simply must change your mentality and get into a healthy lifestyle, not the next diet craze. That means becoming very clear on the reasons you desire change and understanding what's holding you back from making it happen. If you'd like to see whether you're really ready for change, check out my

You are totally capable of making a big change in your life. Change can happen in an instant. But you've got to lay all the groundwork beforehand. It's like that quote, something like, "I'm an overnight success. It only took me twenty years." You see the relevance?
Developing a balanced, healthy lifestyle can take time. It needs to work for you as an individual. What works for someone else is not necessarily a good idea for you. And it needs to be sustainable over time. "Lifestyle" indicates a "lifetime". Look for plans that encourage balance, listening to your body, and avoid total deprivation of certain food groups.
Do You Have an Exercise Plan?
I always tell people to schedule their exercise as they would any other appointment. Consistency is key. No one machine or exercise will give you all that you require for good health. Switch things up, keep challenging your body, and most of all, find something you enjoy. I won't say too much here, as there are whole articles covering exercise elsewhere on the site, like

What About Your Beliefs?
This is an area that most weight loss programs are remiss to address at all. But how to get motivated is firmly entrenched in how you think, or the emotional aspects of losing weight.
Everyone experiences plateaus in their weight loss journey. You need to expect some challenges and not succumb to making excuses. Your thoughts and your self-talk play a very big role in weight loss success. You must know with certainty what you want to achieve and what it means for your future. Above all, believe in your ability to achieve it.
Why do most people fail to make lasting change? They leave it up to willpower. This only works for awhile. Honestly, I don't think I have ANY willpower! Willpower blows, as far as I'm concerned. Making lifestyle change, having a plan, and understanding beliefs can truly help accomplish "instant" change. That's how to get motivated! To return to the home page
